ZOUK LA Celebrates it’s One Year Anniversary
In a city where nightlife trends have the shelf life of a pressed juice, surviving one year is an achievement. Dominating it is a statement. Since its debut in March 2025, Zouk Los Angeles hasn’t just occupied space at 643 N La Cienega; it has recalibrated the West Hollywood heartbeat.
The club—a high-gloss collaboration between Singapore’s Zouk Group and Sam Nazarian’s sbe—celebrates its first anniversary this month, having successfully imported its global reputation for excess and precision to the most demanding zip code in the world. This isn’t just another room with a bottle service menu; it’s a 16,500-square-foot temple designed by Studio Collective, anchored by “The Mothership”—a multidimensional LED and lighting installation that makes the typical club strobe look like a flickering porch light.
The roster of talent over the last twelve months reads like a Coachella lineup and a Grammy after-party blurred into one. From Travis Scott and Playboi Carti to Shaboozey and The Chainsmokers, Zouk has become the default stage for artists who require more than just a DJ booth. It’s also where the industry’s real power resides during the daylight hours, hosting heavyweights like Clive Davis and Lucian Grainge for the Billboard Power 100.

“One year in, I couldn’t be more grateful for how Zouk Los Angeles has been embraced,” says Hui Lim, Executive Chairman of Zouk Group. “LA is where culture, community, and creativity collide, and it’s been inspiring to see our vision flourish here. From unforgettable nights with friends to industry awards celebrations and exclusive music premieres, Zouk LA has become an entertainment landmark. We’re energized by what’s ahead and excited to continue building alongside Sam Nazarian and sbe as we step into the next chapter together.”
For Nazarian, who has spent two decades defining how this city parties, the milestone is a homecoming of sorts. “Celebrating our first year of Zouk Los Angeles alongside my dear friend Hui and the Zouk Group is a tremendous milestone,” he notes. “Having spent the last two decades defining LA nightlife, I am incredibly proud of how sbe continues to pioneer and disrupt the culture. We look forward to innovating the nightlife experience even further, cementing Zouk LA as the ultimate destination for Angelenos and visitors alike.”
