Late Nights & Espresso Dreams: Inside the OREO THINS After Dark Launch

Midtown Manhattan turned into a late-night playground for the dessert-obsessed as OREO THINS took over Black Tap’s private lounge inside The Kixby Hotel for the “After Dark Party.” The occasion? Celebrating the quiet drop of their newest limited-edition flavor: OREO THINS Espresso Creme.

If there is one thing Black Tap knows how to execute, it’s turn-of-the-century indulgence mixed with nightlife energy. The hospitality venue transformed its hidden lounge space into an immersive, coffee-fueled speakeasy. Partygoers navigated an array of interactive sweet stations, starting with a dedicated OREO Thins Espresso Creme Cookie Cart and an extravagant OREO Thins Dessert Bar. To balance the sugar rush, guests lined up at an Espresso Martini Mocktail station, sipping zero-proof caffeine concoctions tailored to match the crisp, rich profile of the new cookie.

Naturally, Black Tap had to bring out its heavy artillery. The kitchen churned out signature savory appetizer bites alongside custom, over-the-top Espresso Creme CrazySundaes and shakes loaded high with whipped toppings and limited-edition cookies.

The guest list brought out a heavy dose of reality TV royalty, digital creators, and New York hospitality insiders. Bravo’s Real Housewives of Rhode Island stars made a strong showing: Ashley Iaconetti (a familiar face across Bachelor Nation) was in attendance, alongside fellow RHORI personality Jo-Ellen Tiberi and her husband, Gary Tiberi. Stepping behind the turntables for the evening, RHORI’s Rosie Woods DiMare and her husband Rich DiMare held down a special guest DJ set that kept the intimate space moving late into the night.

Scanning the crowded lounge revealed plenty of familiar faces from the reality television spectrum, including Summer House alums Stephen McGee and Jason Cameron, TV hosts and pop culture commentators Evan Real and Danny Murphy, alongside digital personalities The Bell Twins, Topher Griffin, and Ani Bollock. Overseeing the madness were Black Tap owner Christopher Barish and veteran New York nighttime royalty, Richie Romero, who mingled with the crowd of foodies and media figures.

For those who missed the velvet-rope affair, the window of opportunity to taste the collab in person is absurdly tight. The new OREO THINS Espresso Creme flavor is traditionally locked behind a digital-only release online. However, Black Tap’s Midtown flagship is serving up the exclusive OREO THINS Espresso Creme Limited Edition Classic Shake for just one week following the event, or until the limited stash of cookies runs dry.

Part nightlife flex, part coffee-infused fever dream, the OREO THINS After Dark event proved that even the crispest, thinnest cookies can still throw a heavy party.
