Victoria Justice Kicks Off Spooky Season in Hollywood

Spooky season officially arrived early in Hollywood as Victoria Justice hosted her second annual living dead-themed bash at Houston Brothers’ exclusive venue SAY YES. The immersive spectacle celebrated the release of her remixed single, “Love Zombie: The Resurrection” (currently streaming on Spotify). Justice set the tone for the evening, arriving as a fierce, one-eyed zombie slayer to lead a crowd of 500 VIP guests into a night of haunted glamour, presented by Chips Ahoy! and Avión Tequila.

Upon arrival, partygoers navigated a secret hallway designed after a haunted maze, filled with heavy cobwebs, ambient candlelight, bloody handprints, and towering 24-foot skeletons and zombies framing the main stage. The star-studded room included Madison Grace, Lilly Singh, Daniella Monet, James Charles, Jordan Barrett, Bankrol Hayden, Alexia Umansky, Paul Butcher, Zach Herron, and Love Island’s Cierra Ortega, alongside venue owners Mark and Jonnie Houston and partner David Weiss. To get into character, guests visited a makeup station led by artist Grace Jackson for skull and zombie appliqués before capturing memories at the Flash Reflectionz photo booth.

The culinary and beverage activations matched the event’s elaborate energy. Mondelez anchored three indulgent dessert stations loaded with custom Victoria Justice-imprinted OREOs, new OREO Ghosts, Sour Patch Kids, Cadbury chocolates, and Chips Ahoy!’s new caramel drizzle cookies alongside their mini chocolate fridge. Dear Caviar delivered a luxury touch with roaming “caviar girl” service, offering caviar bumps, bellinis, and even caviar served atop signature chocolate chip cookies. To satisfy late-night cravings, Prince St. Pizza popped up with custom black charcoal-crust cheese and pepperoni squares under a cheeky parlor sign reading, “We only serve the living dead.”

Avión Tequila kept spirits high with themed cocktails, including the Espresso Death-Tini, Brains and Berries Blackberry Margarita, The Love Zombie (featuring Avión Silver and Reposado), and The Graveyard Shift—a bold blend incorporating Death Before Decaf Nitro Lemonade Cold Brew. Non-alcoholic options from Death Before Decaf, including Nitro Vanilla Oat Lattes, and ice-cold Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer rounded out the bar menu.

Event producer Ali Lasky, emcee Judah Johnson, and DJs Pookie Chapstick and DJ Shoop kept the room buzzing with high-octane energy throughout the night. The party reached its peak at midnight when Justice took the stage flanked by zombie dancers Easton Mags and Apollo Jay. She introduced a dramatic burlesque performance by MISS TOSH, who danced to “Love Zombie” inside a giant 7-foot-tall martini glass in the center of the room.

The celebration raged on until 2:00 AM, sending ghoul-clad guests home with custom-branded Love Zombie teddy bears to mark another wildly successful kickoff to Hollywood’s Halloween season.
